COURSE INFORMATION

The "Technician for the development of traceability systems of Umbrian food and wine production" deals with the evaluation, choice and implementation of blockchain technological systems, to guarantee the originality and quality of the products of the Umbrian food and wine chain and to combat their counterfeiting, in defense of the rights of consumers and producers.

It carries out analysis and investigation of business and supply chain criticalities and problems to protect production; its action makes all the steps in the supply chain that a food undergoes before reaching its use transparent to the final consumer.

The activity of the technician for the development of traceability systems is therefore propulsive for the improvement of the quality of agri-food production and intervenes on the supply chain trying to highlight the advantages of mutual collaboration between producers, aimed at common compliance with production regulations, and / or traditional production or processing techniques, also adopted voluntarily without formalization in official trademarks and certifications.

Furthermore, the role he holds leads him to collaborate in close contact with the figures who take care of corporate and / or territorial marketing, to whom he provides information and advice to support the planning of positioning strategies on national and international markets.

The connection between territory and typicality / quality / image of the product is therefore evident and cannot be separated, maintaining and taking care of this image is a value to be protected, and it is for this reason that the technician for the development of traceability systems assumes a supporting role also of marketing managers for reasons that may be strategic for the purposes of corporate competitiveness.
