Civil service 2024

New terms for participating in the Civil Service call. From 10.00 am on 11 March to 10.00 am on 14 March 2024, they can submit the application to participate in one of the projects that will start in 2024 on the national territory and abroad  young people who, on the date of the deadline set before 22 February 2024, were in possession of the requirements set out in Article 2 of the notice.

If you are between 18 and 28 years old, choose to do the Civil Service at the Confcommercio Umbria Training Centre, consisting of University of FlavorsIter – Tertiary Innovation (Perugia headquarters, Via Fontivegge 55).

WHAT YOU CAN DO 

  • 5 volunteers will gain experience in the management of training activities following the development of the paths in all their phases: planning, promotion, programming, record keeping, relations with students, reporting
  • 1 volunteer will gain experience in the communications area
  • 1 volunteer will be directed to the administration area to support the related activities
  • 1 volunteer will gain experience in the logistics/events area

 

THE ADVANTAGES OF THE CIVIL SERVICE

  • projects lasting between 8 and 12 months
  • monthly allowance of 507,30 euros
  • 25 hours per week or with an annual amount of hours that varies, commensurately, between 1.145 hours for 12-month projects and 765 hours for 8-month projects, spread over five or six days a week
  • at least 80 hours of training
  • formative credits
  • certificate of participation in the Civil Service
  • recognition and valorisation of acquired skills
  • evaluation of experience in public competitions with the same methods and the same value as the service provided in the Public Administration and can be considered as a preferential qualification
  • recognition of the service for the purposes of social security treatment (redeemable)
  • leave of absence variable proportionally to the period of service (20 days for 12 months)
  • other extraordinary permissions for specific circumstances such as participation in university exams, blood donation, etc.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS 

 To apply, the young person is required to possess the following requirements: 

  •  Citizenship of Italy, or of one of the other member states of the European Union, or of a country outside the European Union as long as the candidate is legally resident in Italy; 
  • Having completed the eighteenth year of age and not having exceeded the twenty-eighth year of age (28 years and 364 days) on the date of submission of the application; 
  • Not having been sentenced, even if not definitive, to the penalty of imprisonment of more than one year for the reasons defined in Art. 2 of the announcement. 

The participation requirements must be possessed on the date of submission of the application form and, with the exception of the age limit, maintained until the end of the service, under penalty of exclusion from the procedure. 

 

FURTHER INFORMATION FOR SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION

 Young people can also apply if, without prejudice to the possession of the participation requirements: 

  • have interrupted the Civil Service at the conclusion of a sanctioning procedure against the entity that caused the revocation of the project, or due to the closure of the project or the place of implementation upon a reasoned request from the entity, provided that, in all cases, the period of service rendered did not exceed six months; 
  • have interrupted the National or Universal Civil Service due to the exceeding of the planned sick days, provided that the period of the service provided did not exceed six months; 
  • have already carried out the Civil Service in the past in a "Youth Guarantee" project, only by applying to this call for a Universal Civil Service project; 
  • have already carried out the Civil Service as part of the experimental project International Volunteering Opportunities for Alle as part of the projects for the Civil Corps of Peace. 

Volunteer operators admitted to the Civil Service during previous selections and subsequently placed on abstention due to pregnancy and maternity, who have not completed the six months of service, net of the period of abstention, can also submit a request for service, provided that they meet the requirements. referred to in the previous articles. 

 

Young people cannot apply if: 

  • abelong to the military and police forces; 
  • have interrupted a national, universal or "Youth Guarantee" civil service project before the scheduled deadline and intend to apply again for these types of projects; 
  • have, at the time of publication of this notice, with the body in charge of the project paid employment/collaboration relationships in any capacity, or have had such relationships lasting more than three months in the 12 months preceding the date of publication of the notice ; paid internships are also included in these cases.

HOW TO APPLY 

 Aspiring volunteer operators must submit the application for participation exclusively through the online application platform (DOL) which can be reached via PC, tablet and smartphone at the address 

 https://domandaonline.serviziocivile.it 

 The platform can be accessed through SPID, the “Public Digital Identity System” with a security level of 2. On the AGID – Agency for Digital Italy website (www.agid.gov.it/it/piatreste/spid) all the necessary information is available, including FAQs and tutorials, to request the SPID which is essential to submit your application. 

 Citizens of countries belonging to the European Union and foreigners legally residing in Italy, if they do not have the availability to acquire the SPID, will be able to access the services of the DOL platform through specific credentials to be requested from the Department at the following address: https://domandaonline.serviziocivile.it/RichiestaCredenziali 

 Applications to participate must be submitted exclusively in the online mode described above, no later than 14.00 pm on 15 February 2024. After this deadline the system will not allow the submission of applications. Applications sent in different ways will not be taken into consideration. 

The day after submitting the application, the Department's protocol system sends the candidate, via email, the receipt certifying the submission with the protocol number and the date and time of submission of the application itself. In case of incorrect completion, it is possible to cancel your application and submit a new one until 14 pm on February 00, 09, the day before the deadline for this announcement. 

 It's possible submit a single application for participation for a single project and a single locationand, to be chosen from the projects listed in the attachments to this notice and reported on the DOL platform.
